Heather Nauert

 Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27 1970) is an American broadcast journalist and former government official who served as Spokesperson for the United States Department of State in the Donald Trump administration from 2017 through 2019. She is a senior fellow in the Hudson Institute, which is a think tank for conservatives.



 



 Before her position at the Department of State she was an Fox News correspondent and news presenter. Nauert also served as acting Secretary of State for Foreign Public Relations and Diplomacy under the Trump administration from March 2018 to October 2018. In 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board and to the White House Commission on White House Fellowships.
